10~ Persistance & Patientence! Just keep putting him/her back to bed.
9~ Put him/her to bed and put the History Channel on. Tell him/her you'll come lay with them when the show is over. Trust me, he/she will be asleep before the show is over. Especially if it is an hour long show.
8~ Bribery goes a long way.
7~ Develop a Bedtime Routine & Stick with it!
6~ Let him/her choose a couple of bed time stories. Explain that when the stories are over he/she must go to sleep.
5~ Tell them to go "hide" under the covers in his/her bed and you will come find him/her. WAIT...Take your time, if he/she is tired enough he/she will be asleep before you find him/her.
4~ Since it's Christmas, tell him/her that Santa won't know where to find him/her if he/she is not in his/her own bed.
3~ For me it's like "Survivor". You have to "Outwit & Outlast".
2~ Make his/her room exciting and inviting. Let him/her participate in the decorating.
1~ Let him/her sleep with you. One day you'll be longing for the days he/she loved to snuggle with you!
Thanks Again for all the great input!
